Bitcoin's Existential Threat

Despite opinion to the contrary, it is possible for governments to ban cryptocurrencies, but this likely would have already been done if this is what governments desired.If governments want to restrict the usage of cryptocurrencies, it will likely be done by controlling the flow of money into and out of the fiat system.With the possibility of an outright ban remote, increased regulation should be viewed as a positive as it will help to legitimize cryptocurrencies as an alternative asset class.
